Our Methodology
In the process of the EMF Home Inspection, we measure for:
- Harmful magnetic frequencies: caused by power lines, and the flow of power in your home, for example in appliances (measured in mG)
- Harmful electrical frequencies: also caused by power lines, the flow of power in your home, appliances, etc (V/m)
- Harmful dirty electricity: comes from your home’s wiring (mV)
- Harmful radio frequencies: caused by nearby cell towers, 5G satellites, your smartphone, other smart devices, smart meters, and all wireless flow of data (RF)

Common Sources of EMF
To review, nearby high-voltage transmission lines, local distribution power lines and transformers are often of concern. These sources cause both magnetic and electric frequencies.
Dirty Electricity exists in almost every home (199 out of every 200 have an very high level of electric radiation leaking into the room from the home’s wiring. This is even worse in office and work settings.
RF frequencies come from cell phones, cordless phones, wifi and cell towers. We measure and report findings and recommendations for each of these as well.
